Union activists at the London Fire Authority were buoyed by the news that plans to shut the brigade museum and library have been dropped.
Around 40 members of the Unison, GMB and FBU unions attended a lobby at City Hall last week.
The fire authority agreed to review plans to cut the equality and diversity team in half. However, it voted through £8.3 million of cuts, which means that the threat of compulsory redundancies remains.
We must be prepared to fight this threat through strike action.
