Workers at Jaguar Land Rover in Coventry are to ballot for industrial action over the factory’s sale to new owners.
The 359 Unite union members at the Browns Lane Veneer Manufacturing Centre fear that the transfer will hit their pay and conditions.
They voted by 84 percent in favour of balloting for action in a consultative vote.
The majority of the workers are pushing to be transferred to Jaguar Land Rover’s plant in Castle Bromwich, Birmingham.
Not one worker has agreed to move to a new employer.
