Femi Aborisade, the editor of Socialist Worker in Nigeria, has been attacked in his house.
Femi is a lecturer at Ibadan polytechnic. Eight armed men attacked his house on 29 December, in the second attack in five weeks. This was no robbery attempt, as the attackers stood outside the house calling out his name and demanding he came out.
The Socialist Workers League in Nigeria reports, “On both occasions, the telephone lines of the chief security officer and the control room of the security department of the Polytechnic were either unavailable or conveniently had ‘network problems’.
“This leaves room for suspicion.”
