Around 80 construction workers held a protest in Teesside from 6.15am on Monday morning of this week.
The protest at SITA UK’s new incinerator plant at Haverton Hill near Billingham caused major rush-hour traffic delays.
There was a good atmosphere as workers went from car to car delivering leaflets. But they had to cut their protest short as traffic congestion worsened.
Unions claim they are being denied access to the site.
The Scottish Affairs Committee of MPs was set to hear evidence on blacklisting from directors of Caprim Ltd as Socialist Worker went to press.
Caprim is a vetting company that was set up by directors of the Economic League.
